Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Sunday some missionaries, Mike and Debbie Kenner, spoke at church. Debbie gave her testimony. When she was 14, she felt called to be a missionary. If she had said "music" instead of "missionary" her story could have been mine.
I knew then that the Lord IS calling me again. I talked to Debbie after church.
"I don't understand," I said. "This is something I have always wanted to do, and I think it is where He is calling me. Now I think He's opening doors for me, and I am running from them. I don't know why I am fighting this."
"That will happen," she said. "I did it."
I don't know how to answer this call. I am afraid that the only thing to do is to wait. That makes it very hard for me here, where I have to plan everything I do.
