Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Well, a lot of changes have happened inside my head since the last time I wrote. I'm glad of this. I want to be healthy, to rebuild my life. I just don't know how to undo what I've done over the last four years. I know You do, and I'm trying to trust You and not take off on my own again. I want to be able to write songs again, Lord. Please tell me You didn't take my gift from me for lack of use. I want to get closer to You, too. I remember when You were all I wanted. I didn't have much of that kind of time, but I want more of it. I want to desire to fellowship with You and nothing else. Will You change my desires? Right now I think I still want too much to pursue music. From what I've been reading, the people who are getting somewhere are the ones who aren't looking for anything.
