Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I went to a chat tonight of the Christian songwriters group. I was made acutely aware of my social inadequacy. I had no clue how to enter into the conversation. It hurt so bad! I started thinking about being in Anderson and wondered if it's going to be like this there, too.
I know You're telling me that all this time I've been asking who I am when I should have been asking who You are. I was not made for myself or for others. I was made for You. That is what I hear You telling me.
Listening to this praise music, I hear that You love to hear our praises. Do You love to hear mine? Or am I just a little girl who's been bad and is trying to say and do all the right things? Where did I get this idea? Won't You hold me? That's all I have wanted: to be held.
