Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I woke up to my dad calling to tell me that my grandpa (aka Papa) died this morning. Dad was crying, and it just ripped my heart out. Mom's going to try to find a way to get me a one-way ticket to OKC. She and my sister will drive down, and then I'll ride home with Dad and stay and keep Mom company while she recovers from surgery. I don't know how long I'll be away.
