Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.
Please also visit my music page, where you can hear samples from my debut CD, I Believe, which features songs written based on experiences shared in this journal.
Yesterday I did kind of a big thing for me. I mentioned to my dad that I had had some changes in my vision and that things arelooking blurry. To tell the truth, they're starting to look like they did last year. He was real preoccupied and didn't say much,so I told him right out that I would probably want to go to the doctor next week. I expected him to get frustrated with it. Not that he's mad at me for needing to go, but I know it's frustrating. Well, he still didn't say anything.
This morning I talked to the doctor's office, and it's as I figured it would be. Drop in on Tuesday and they'll take a look. The catch is finding a ride to Detroit. I haven't talked to Mom yet. She's been pretty determined so far to make sure I get to all these appointments and have whatever I need done, etc. I don't think things will be any different this time, but it's kind of scary to be in limbo. I like spontaneous, but not with medical stuff.
