Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Something really neat happened earlier. I was talking to Tijuanna, and we were talking about our sisters showing us how to do things. "The hardest thing for me," I said, "is that my sister has friends she can go to the beach or the mall with, and I never did. She has friends everywhere!"
"Thank you," Tijuanna said. That was all she had to say. I was so afraid I was the only one who felt that way. Just for a moment, part of my wall was torn down, and I could see that I am not alone in this.
