Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I've been thinking about my spiritual responsibility at my concert for a long time. I am a minister, but I don't feel like one.
In 1 Timothy 2:8, Paul says, "For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." Spiritual growth seems to be my greatest challenge. I always come back to the point that I sing for You and not to entertain people.
Is this the right time in my life for a concert? 1 Timothy 2:14 says, "Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands on you." Revelation 3:8 says, "'I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name." When I first read this, I thought that maybe You were speaking to me. I thought that maybe You were saying this is an open door for me. Please give me discernment.
