Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.
Please also visit my music page, where you can hear samples from my debut CD, I Believe, which features songs written based on experiences shared in this journal.
Lord, thank You for using me last night. I had a feeling all week that You allowed this night for a reason. I know You more than allowed it.
Kevin brought his dad and several people. Granny, Gramps, and I have been praying that his family would come to know You because of this trial. I know that You work through things.
Jennie was the first person to come and talk to me. She was my voice teacher during my junior and senior year of high school. I really appreciated her support and belief in me. She said she could really relate to "In Gethsemane". "It's hard to find someone who knows what it's like to live my life," she said, "but Christ does. Above all, He knows rejection."
My former French teacher, came and brought her family. I had called and told her this was happening because she asked me to let her know what I was doing. But I did not expect her to come.
Beck said "In Gethsemane" almost made her cry. I'm glad she was able to be there.
I am a member of Lighted Path, a directory of Christian diaries.
