Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Today I went to lunch with Doug, my new friend. He said something that really helped my self-esteem. He said he has two real friends here. One is a girl named Tammy. "We talk about stuff sometimes," he said, "but not like I have talked to you just the last two times I have talked to you." I don't know if I can say that I was humbled, but I do know that I am so grateful that he looks at me as his friend. You know that there is nothing in the world I want more, not even for Gloria to say that "We Are the Church" is the best song she has ever heard. Our lunch, as gross as it was in the Haven, was a very relaxing time for me.
