Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I am so tired, but I sure did have a good day! Tracey and I went to A&M today to see Terri (one of the girls who was at camp this summer) and Robert, Vicki, and their baby. We left early and had breakfast with Terri. I really enjoyed that, and I think Terri did, too. She reminds me a lot of myself, which scares me sometimes because I don't want to see her go through some of the things I went through. The thing I learned is that she already is going through them and there's nothing I can do to stop that. What I can do is be there for her like someone was (or sometimes wasn't) for me.
Robert and Vicki are doing great! The baby is SO CUTE!!! I had never talked much to Vicki. She's been kind of quiet when I've been there before. She was really talkative this time, and I felt like I was visiting family. Tracey had a blast going there, and she wants to go again.
Tracey and I also had fun talking in the car. We talked about guys and churches and kids ... and all kinds of stuff. Now I'm feeling pretty relaxed.
