Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I must return to my first love. I'm listening, Lord. I do hear You, and I don't feel condemned. Obviously there have been times when I have loved You. If there hadn't, this phrase "first love" would mean nothing to me. But more than that, I can see it in my old journal entries. I need to seek You with all my heart--and when I do, I will find You; for no one who seeks You is denied! Perhaps I have already begun to find You.
What does this mean? It means taking my heart and thoughts captive to Christ. It means fixing my eyes on You and letting You handle me healing. You know all about me, and You know that I fall short. You also know that in Christ and with the help of the Holy Spirit I can do all things.
