Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.
Please also visit my music page, where you can hear samples from my debut CD, I Believe, which features songs written based on experiences shared in this journal.
I was a grown up kid, I think. I remember being a child until something like age 9. I was a latchkey kid beginning then, and that was my choice. Going to child-care facility was painful forme because kids did not play with me, so I chose to check in with a neighbor and spend the three hours after school alone. I always enjoyed the time, but thinking back now I wish I had been able to be a child. I don't think it was anyone's fault that I was not able to be a child. I was functioning like age 13-16 at chronological age 10. What is wrong with that picture?
I am a member of Lighted Path, a directory of Christian diaries.
