Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Mom, Cheryl, and I sang some more tonight. The highlight of the night was just before I left. I asked to have a few minutes alone with Granny. "Do you mind if I say a prayer?" I asked.
She squeezed my hands the same way she did when I asked if she wanted me to stay last night. So I prayed for her continued peace and comfort, and also for my family's peace and joy, and for her healing in whatever form it will be. She hugged me. When I was in the car going home, I heard the angels singing, "It is well with my soul."
