Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.
Please also visit my music page, where you can hear samples from my debut CD, I Believe, which features songs written based on experiences shared in this journal.
I saw my eye doctor--finally. He got an okay look at me. Not bad since I was awake. We've discovered a new method for examining me. It consists of taking lots of little breaks when he wants me to look a certain way. He says my retina looks fine, which means it looks just like it did in January.
He also got a pressure measurement, but he's not sure if it was accurate. It was 31, as opposed to 34 in January and 43 in December. He said the high pressure is causing my cornea to be cloudy, which also affects my vision. So he is sending me to a glaucoma specialist before I leave for Wimberly. I don't know when the appointment is yet. I don't leave for Wimberly until Wednesday. The glaucoma specialist may have some other things he can do to help bring the pressure down.
