Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.
Please also visit my music page, where you can hear samples from my debut CD, I Believe, which features songs written based on experiences shared in this journal.
Unbelief (doubt?) is something God has to "heal" just like disease, and He doesn't always do it overnight. Then again, maybe doubt is like some types of illness, like my mood swings. I just have to ride them out sometimes and know that the hard times will pass. Kevin and I have a saying during the moody times: "I know what's true." I know what's true spiritually, too, and I have to hold on to it the same way.
This is deep, and I'll definitely have more ramblings on it. I'm feeling a bit encouraged that I wrote this much. I've also already done a lot of work on my kitchen, and it's getting to be time for a nap. I think I'm starting to develop a sort of network of people here who I might be able to begin to trust. Trust is so so scary for me, but the only way for it to become un-scary is for me to take the risk. If I'm not willing to trust, no one can earn my trust regardless of what they do.
