Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I'm doing some contract work with Freedom Scientific, working on manuals and help topics for JAWS. I've just been thinking about something Kevin said a few weeks ago. He reminded me that I was now part of the 30 percent. It might come as a surprise that that hadn't entered my mind. I think that in my mind there's always the question, "What if it doesn't last?" And the truth is I don't know how long it will last. That's the scary thing about contract work.
But if I dwell on that, I don't get to enjoy the fact that for now I am one of the 30 percent. Wow! And I'm doing something that doesn't make me space out or feel like tearing my hair out at the end of the day. It sort of makes my head spin to think about it.
