Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Lord, I don't know what has happened to me. I used to care more about other people than myself. That's why I invited my roommate to come here. That's why I wanted to pray for her. That's why I wanted to visit a friend who had leukemia. I used to be able to pray for friends who don't know You. Now I can't do any of those things.
Was my salvation experience false? Did I have a wrong image of You and think that You wanted me to please You on my own? Have I been pretending all along? Am I really obsessing about my friend? Why do I keep thinking of the paralytic whose friends brought him to Jesus? Why do I keep thinking of the hemorrhaging woman and Jairus' daughter? They didn't give up. Why am I giving up?
