Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Yesterday I fell in this big hole and got a bad scrape. It's hard to describe. I was using my cane because I carried a basket of clothes to the laundry room. I'm glad Elliwas not with me. I would have really yelled at her, and it probably would not have been her fault. I cried a lot and hoped someone would come and help me, but no one did. Eventually I dragged my foot out myself, and that really hurt. The hole was at the edge of a sidewalk, and my heel was dragging against the sidewalk because I was wearing sandals. I don't have my first class tomorrow, and I am not going to math because it hurts so bad to walk on it or wear shoes. Today I wore one shoe and one sock to church, which felt really stupid.
My therapist moved away. It was really sudden, and I wish she had told me sooner that she was going, but I think I am doing pretty well now and can take a break from therapy. I can tell that I am doing a lot better because I am taking showers every morning and writing songs again. For a while I did not take showers every day or care if I took them in the mornings. I would get up and go places with messy hair and stuff. You know how I am, so figure that. Now I am even able to get up early enough to be on time for class. It's been a long time since I could do that.
