Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

This comes from some old notes from a conference. Just something to ponder.
As citizens of the United States, we should be involved in the political party and some will be uniquely called to politics. But we must never forget that our true citizenship is in God's kingdom and that we are to live as aliens in our earthly country.
The Christian political right makes the same mistake as the Christian political left.
a) It trades a political agenda for God's Word.
b) It trades political method for the power of the Holy Spirit.
