Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I've been starving myself spiritually. I've been doing it because I feel like You are angry with me. I've been doing it because I'm afraid to read about people who received answers to their prayers when I don't seem to be receiving the answer to mine. Now I'm afraid that if I do read the Bible, I won't get anything out of it or I will focus on the wrong things.
I thought that eventually I would pull out of this slump, but it has only become worse. I don't feel accepted anywhere, even at Chi Alpha. I want to be accepted there, to be a part of the family. I feel like that is where You want me. I can't keeprunning away every time I don't feel accepted. But, Lord, couldn't I have a friend just once? Couldn't I fit in and be useful in one place? Couldn't I see that I have made a difference somewhere instead of people telling me that so that I will feel better?
