Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

a little revelation

Kevin commented that he has known that I was called to be a leader for a while. I was saying that I don't feel like "leader material." Then I had a revelation... When I say things like that and refuse to answer the call, I am not acting in humility. I am acting in direct disobedience to God. He calls me because I am equipped--He took care of that already, and I'll be fine as long as I look to Him for whatever I need to answer the call. Acknowledging the call confidently isn't prideful. It's an act of faith. "I am who God says I am," and "I can do all things through Christ!"
