Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Last night I made an interesting discovery. I was mixing up cookies and had just put in the eggs. I couldn't tell if I had gotten them all mixed in by the way the dough was stirring. My normal way of taking care of that situation is to stick my finger in the dough and check for slime. Well, I was about to do it when I noticed that the dough was different colors and that some of the colors looked more like blobs than others. I called my mom and pointed to one of the blobs. She said that I was seeing egg yolks.
Next month will be the one-year anniversary of my surgery. I didn't think it would do much, let alone have me looking at egg yolks in the cookie dough. This was a completely new experience for me.
