Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

You have put me here in this place, and it's all right to enjoy it. I'm not sure what to enjoy. Sometimes it seems selfish to enjoy something when people think I've been doing everything wrong. I don't know how to discern whether or not they are right. I know You convict my heart when I am wrong. I am just so afraid of being so busy enjoying life that I ignore Your convictions.
Most people would call me a hypocrite by now, I suppose. At least, they would if I was at Anderson. How do I keep from thinking bad thoughts? They don't outwardly hurt anyone, but eventually they do because they corrupt my own heart. Lord, You know my heart. You know my insecurities and fears--and You know my failures. Please don't let me be a disgrace to You.
The best thing I can think of right now is to ignore everything that goes on in my house. That's a lot easier said than done. I know You will help me to get through everything. Like Vicki said, it's putting one foot in front of the other that hurts.
