Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I called the national office this morning since my local one never did let me through but just kept telling me to call back later. The lady was nice and looked up my records. She said it looked like they had been notified several times of this change regarding my separation. Indeed they have been notified three different times. She faxed them a letter stating that I would not be able to bring in his documentation because I had not seen him in over a year and, basically, that they needed to get their act together and get this case updated. My local office seems to be pretty unorganized and, imho, very poorly prepared to deal with the needs of their SSI clients. They're supposed to contact me again about this new message. We'll see what happens. I'm running out of time to get anything straightened out. After the 27th of this month, I will be pretty much unreachable for two weeks, and they never give much time for me to act on a notice they send me.
