Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.
If you are just coming to my diary for the first time, please read my introductory entry, where I share some background that is important if you plan to follow this diary regularly.

Well, I called the national office again today to find out if my local office even got the message they sent about my husband's check stubs. They had acknowledged it, but of course no one has contacted me. On top of this, I also learned that the change of mailing address that I reported on June 12 was not entered, so I don't get my check on time this month. Needless to say, I am infuriated. I've been trying to get hold of someone in the local office all day long with no luck. I've left messages which have of course not been returned. Right now I am sitting on hold yet again. I guess that's better than having to dial the number 50 million times, but I don't even get music!
I'm going to file a complaint against the local office for not getting my paperwork on time. I won't get anything but back pay for next month's reduction, but at least I can have the satisfaction of knowing these nuts got reported for not getting their work done on time. I am not used to this poor service. I guess that's the way it is in the city instead of a small town, but it's just wrong and I'm furious. I'm lucky to have parents willing to loan me money, but the thing is it all comes out of their money for the new house, and that's not fair to them. Just increases my feelings of being a burden on them and on society.
Oh, yeah, when I asked about how I could get my money on time, they wanted me to go pick it up at the post office. Um, ok, yeah right, all the way from Indiana.
