Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

While I was at home over the weekend, my roommate tried to split her lip. She did not tell me that was what happened until last night. We talked about her going to Rapha, and she decided to try it. I told her that I wanted her to go if that was what she thought might help. She said she didn't know if it would help. I don't know if it will--she's been in five hospitals already. But none of them used Christ-centered treatment. If she really needs a touch from You, then maybe this is the place to go. I want her to be receptive to this treatment and to Your work in her. I've known two people who went to Rapha. One ended up going back the way he came from, and Vicki supposedly killed herself. I don't know how to interpret that. I want my friend's growth to be real and lasting.
I am scanning The Search for Significance for her before she goes. While she is gone, I also want to go through the book and do the exercises. I want You to help me and work on me at the same time. I want to be healed, too. I want to be able to serve You with the right motive. I want to be able to have a healthy relationship with my husband. I want us to be able to build a healthy family. I want to break the cycle of dysfunctional families, and I know that in You we can do that.
