Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

What is healing? I didn't want to take medicine forever--not for my eyes, not for my allergies, and not for my depression. I quit taking my eye drops because my eyes didn't hurt anymore. I thought You were healing them. Now I can't wear my contact because my pressure is too high. I have to see the glaucoma doctor so she can adjust the dosage of a medication I have not been taking.
Have I been irresponsible with the gift You gave to me, Lord? The gift matters, but my life and happiness in You matter more. I know that I need to draw closer to You and that if I would do this, You would take care of me in every way.I need You to draw me close and give me desire for You.
