Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

Faith is the "in" thing, but sincerity rather than authenticity is prized.
Luke 9:52-61 shows what Jesus wants us to do with rejection. Do we get vengeful or compromise to save face? Keep in mind the message of His kindness.
The wages of sin is death--and there are lots of ways to die.
Following Jesus means devoting myself completely to him. The son of man has nowhere to lay his head. Are you sure you want to come? Even if it hurts?
It's a now choice. No "but first."
When we follow Christ, it's not about willingness. It's about wanting his presence more than anything else. otherwise the desire is not strong enough to see you through the pain that goes with following Christ.Read More
