Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

I kind of made a new friend at Chi Alpha. Her name is Gina. I feel like she has the potential to be a close friend, and I guess that makes me nervous about being around her. You know, I don't want to do something wrong. I've been feeling like I still don't quite fit in anywhere. I want to do something about it, but I don't know exactly what to do.
James got a temporary job, and his first day is today. I have a feeling he's going to hate it, and I'm not sure what it's going to do to our schedules. It's a full-time job, and he hasn't worked at all in a few years. It's an easy job--it's working on an assembly line, but I'm not sure how he'll handle the stress of just being so busy. But it's something he wants to do to bring in some money, so he's going to try it. I think he feels like he's not helping enough because I've spent so much money on the wedding and our bills that need to be paid off. That doesn't bother me, but I can understand that it bothers him.
