Thanks for visiting my diary. I've been journaling since 1984 and have chosen to share some of my entries online. They are not all positive thoughts, but I hope that reading them might be a blessing to someone who needs encouragement.

(From a note to Beck)
Yesterday I was thinking about how you were so surprised when I told you I was lonely, and I realized that I haven't really talked to you about anything serious in a long time. Besides that weekend we spent together in May, the last time I remember us having one of those talks was when I was a freshman and we went to the Twila Paris concert with Donna and Virgil.
My sister fell asleep in the middle. While she was asleep Twila sang "I Commit My Love to You." I remember how I almost cried when she got to the second verse. "And if you have offended me you know you are forgiven. I will not remember. I commit my love to you."
My sister's head was right on my lap, and as I listened I felt so much love for her! She had offended me more times than I could count, but now that did not matter.
One thing I have learned is that I don't have to be a part of every organization or receive every award to be important. The funny thing is that I had to go through so many elections and auditions to realize that.
